According to Star Trek, Spock’s homeworld Vulcan is a planet of ε Eridani (or 40 Eridani A, but I hold out for ε Eridani.) Well, it turns out that recent studies suggest the ε Eridani system is actually very similar to ours, with a high probability of having reasonably sized planets in the inner system.
