Well, all I can say is that the life of Media Celebrity (down to less that 11 minutes, now) can be pretty hectic. Did Fox News yesterday of course; I’m going to write a post about what that’s like later today. Did Al Kresta’s radio show yesterday afternoon. Will be doing Pajamas Media Television this afternoon, I’ll put up something with the details when I learn them.

Listening to my appearance on Martha Zoller, and watching my appearance on Fox, all I can say is I think I need to take the Columbia School of Broadcasting emergency help course.

What with all that, though, I’m catching up on housekeeping on the site today. Upgraded to WordPress 2.6.2 because of a security issue, and I’ll be moving to a better WP cache plugin as soon as I can. As I said when I wrote the Sun Startup Essentials materials (soon to be a major motion picture, or at least a mildly useful book) there’s nothing like a 4-5 order of magnitude increase in load to shake out little problems in your web configuration. Yes, that little bump on the left is the Alex Jones Instalanche. Before that, I was averaging 60 hits a day, more or less. At the height of my linkage from the front page of Lucianne.com I hit nearly 40,000, and it seems to be settling down to in the 20K area right now. I figure I can fix my load problems for sure by posting some more Sanskrit translation.

In any case, I’ve gotten behind on both new rumors and comment moderation; comments should now be up to date (more or less) and I’ll be adding new rumors before the end of the day today. I plan to eventually convert these to something like a FAQ page, which will become a static page instead of a moving post. This may happen tonight, depending on my level of ambition.

I also want to thank all my friends at Tom Maguire’s Just One Minute. Tom was kind enough to make a post specifically about my Fox appearance, and my fellow commenters over there were very complimentary.
